Small-land Martello* x Exeter Evenstar
2018 Bay Registered Partbred Welsh Colt
"Dale" is a stunning 3/4 British Riding Pony x 1/4 Welsh (Section B) cross, registered with WPCSA as a Partbred Welsh. He is very athletic with lovely gaits and a lot of potential. He has been handled daily since birth, is very intelligent and a quick study.
In 2019, he brought home Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles from his very first show, as a yearling. Due to Covid-19, there were no in-person shows available to us in 2020. However, Dale did compete in virtual shows. One of his show highlights was placing first in his Welsh Partbred class with an 81% at the Tegan Welsh Show, based in Florida. Some of the judge's comments were, "Nice, great length of neck & maintains pony character. Super pony." You can see the video of his first place round below.
Dale is friendly, easy to catch, leads, loads, trailers well and stands nicely for vet and farrier. He will mature medium and will be easy to start under saddle. Dale was bred to be a sport pony. He has the potential to be a competitive hunter, dressage, jumper or eventing pony.
Dale will be ready to start his training under saddle next year. Don't miss out on this opportunity as he will make an amazing riding pony and is a true investment type pony.

2020 SHOWS
Unfortunately, due to Covid 19, there were no shows for us to get Dale out to during his two-year-old year. So instead, he competed in a few virtual shows. Here are his highlights from the virtual circuit:
THE TEGAN WELSH SHOW, BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA
Partbred Welsh 2 Years and Under
1st - Exeter Erebor
WPCS WORLD ONLINE FUN SHOW, WALES
Welsh Part-bred
2nd - Exeter Erebor
ARTHUR FAIR VIRTUAL WELSH & OPEN PONY SHOW, ONTARIO
Open Pony Two-Year Olds
4th - Exeter Erebor
Dale did very well on the virtual circuit, scoring an 81% to win his class at the Tegan Welsh Show. Competition is stiff at the virtual shows, as they are generally open to ponies from all over the world. From the WPCS Show, "The World Online Fun show, drew just under 400 entries by competitors from Canada, USA, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, and the home nations."

This was the only virtual video show we had the opportunity to compete in (the others were photo shows) and it was so much fun!
